FAQ
What types of coaching do you offer for veterans?
We offer personalized, one-on-one coaching for veterans who are pursuing VA disability benefits. Our coaching focuses on helping veterans understand the entire claims process—from gathering evidence and writing strong personal statements to preparing for C&P exams and navigating appeals if needed.
We tailor our coaching based on each veteran’s unique situation and goals. Our experienced Veteran Coaches—many of whom are veterans themselves—ensure every client is well-informed, fully prepared, and never alone in the process. What areas of life can the coaching help me improve?
What kind of results can I expect from the coaching program?
Our company proudly boasts a 97% success rate with submitted claims. When you choose WSDV, you gain access to a proven roadmap that can help you secure $10,000–$15,000 in back pay, up to $4,000 per month in tax-free compensation, and additional benefits such as free education and healthcare for your family. We're committed to helping you receive the full benefits you've rightfully earned through your service.
How often are coaching sessions held, and how long do they last?
We currently offer 7 live training sessions each week, held on various days and times to accommodate veterans in all time zones. Each session is designed to last as long as necessary to ensure every veteran in attendance receives the guidance and education they need to succeed with their claim.
Can coaching sessions be conducted remotely or in person?
Everything we do is done remotely.
What if I was denied before?
At WSDV, we’re highly experienced with the VA appeals process and ready to support you every step of the way. Our team of skilled coaches will guide you through the entire process, ensure you understand your options, and help you build a stronger, more strategic appeal. You're not alone—we’re here to help you fight for the benefits you deserve.
How long does it take to receive a decision on my claim?
On average, claims submitted through our program are seeing decisions within approximately 4 months. However, processing times can vary depending on the complexity of the case and the VA’s current workload.
Am I entitled to any back pay?
Yes. Our experienced coaches will guide you in properly submitting your Intent to File with the VA, which helps secure the earliest possible effective date for your claim. By following our proven process, many veterans receive significant back pay—two of our most recent clients were awarded $41,000 and $62,000, respectively.
Do your coaching services have any fees?
We offer a free 30-minute consultation to help you understand your path forward. If you choose to move forward with our services, you only pay if you receive a rating increase. The best part is—if there’s no increase, you owe WSDV nothing. Our success is tied to yours.
Am I allowed to work while receiving VA disability benefits?
Yes. You can work while receiving VA disability compensation. VA disability benefits are based on how your service-connected conditions affect your daily life—not your employment status. However, if you're receiving Individual Unemployability (TDIU), there are income limits and work restrictions you must follow. Our team can help you understand the rules based on your specific situation.
Can I work if I’m receiving TDIU (Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability)?
Yes, but with strict limitations. If you're receiving TDIU, the VA has determined that your service-connected conditions prevent you from engaging in substantially gainful employment. This means:
You cannot hold full-time or high-paying jobs that exceed the federal poverty level.
You may be allowed to work part-time or in "marginal employment"—typically jobs that pay below the poverty threshold or are considered sheltered (e.g., working for a family business with special accommodations).
Working beyond these limits could result in the loss of your TDIU benefits.
